HOPE Volunteer Opportunities

Our local organization for nighttime homeless outreach would like some help.

Perhaps you could be a Soup Angel by preparing sack lunches to be distributed as an evening meal to those who might otherwise go without.  Each evening the outreach workers give out 60 meals prepared by individuals, families, corporations, small communities, and even a 3rd grade school class.  During the cold months, the meals include a container of something hot - hearty soup, chili, or casserole.  Many donors commit for a meal once a month, but substitutes are also needed.

Other possible services needed are data entry, warehouse help (sorting supplies & clothing), and street outreach.
